Assassins
Detailed RulesOverview
Assassins is a moderately-paced kill-or-be-killed campus-wide game in which players are assigned other players to eliminate by various means. The game is designed to simulate competition between members of an underground society of mercenaries.
Game Dynamics
During the course of the game, players quickly find themselves bent on building their reputations and eliminating all other competition. For every sucker players take out, they improve their standing via Bounty Points. Those that survive with the most accumulated Bounty Points at the end of the game are truly elite Assassins, but only one can be the winner!
Direct Weapons
Players can use Direct Weapons to attack only their Targets and/or defend themselves.
Accepted weapons include:
- Nerf Blasters
- Foam Swords and Daggers
- Attack Animals
- Foam Frisbees ("shuriken")
Indirect Weapons
Players can use Indirect Weapons on any player and are rewarded more points for this craftier method.
Accepted weapons include:
- Food Poison: A slip of paper under the food with "Poison" written on it or Tabasco sauce added discretely to the item.
- Car Bombs: A CD in a Target's car that says "you have been car bombed" when played or tin cans tied to back/bottom of the car.
- Bike Bombs: A card of any kind placed in the spokes of a bike wheel with the word "bomb" written on it.
- Personal Bombs: An alarm clock (or any device that makes a loud sound after a pre-set time) placed in backpack or clothing of a Target.
