Overview

Arts Fest Summer 2009 The Urban Gaming Club also plays more traditional games like Capture the Flag. However, we are known to put interesting spins on the original format. A lot of the game dynamics are left up to the Game Director and the participants, usually providing a fun and positive activity safe from serious competition. Capture the Flag is a game that virtually anyone can play and enjoy.

Modes of Play

  • Team Deathmatch: Instead of trying to capture a flag, teams try to eliminate all of their opponents.
  • Freeze-Tag: Players freeze in place when stunned, and can be unfrozen by their team mates.
  • Look Mom No Nerf!: Traditional Capture the Flag like you used to play in gym class.
  • Base Defense: Teams take turns defending a base, trying to last as long as possible.
  • One-Flag Push: Teams take one neutral flag from the center of the field and deliver it into the opponents' base.
