BR and Dat Assassins

I hope you guys are all getting settled into the new semester.  We have a few games coming up in the next week.

Battle Royale, a game of random chance and backstabbing, will be held on Saturday Jan. 21st from noon till about 3.  Bring nerf and dress warm.

The other event coming up is Assassins, a game of stalking your prey and stealth.  Orientation is TBA (probably on Sunday early afternoon).

All rules can be found under the Games tab under the banner and contact information for your Rules Council people under About Us.

What does the Urbangaming Club do?
We schedule, coordinate and create games to play on campus during the academic semester.
We play a variety of games from Capture to Flag to a Team-based games like HvZ and Territories.
All of our games usually involve the use of Nerf blasters, socks and marshmallows.

T-Shirt Contest
We want some club T-Shirts and we are looking for creative individuals to come up with an awesome design!
We need a design for our club and an upcoming Humans vs. Zombie Invitational.

Assassins
The first 2-week long game of the semester will be Assassins.
It is a competition of skill, cunning and general awesomeness.
Because the 2-week long games are technical in nature you will need to register on urbangaming.org to play. This means you do need to make an account
You can register by signing into your account on urbangaming.org clicking the Account Tab and scrolling down to Event Registration.
Game starts 1/23/2012 with orientation at 1/22/2012.

CTF
We are playing Capture the Flag this Saturday at Late Night!
We will be their from 10p.m. to 1a.m.
Nerf Blaster, Bandannas darts and socks will be provided
However, bring your own gear is encouraged

Call For Councilor
We are currently looking for an individual willing to become our next Rules Councilor of Territories.
If you or someone you know is interested please nominate an individual either right now or on urbangaming.org in the SERIOUS BUSINESS Forum under the topic: Nominations for RC

Website Demostration
Out of all the things today this is probably the most important. Knowing how to navigate our website is important when we play our longer 2-week games. (If you found this meeting minutes I doubt you need a demo).

Welcome Back!

We’re having a bunch of games and stuff this weekend to celebrate our return to school!

Friday 1/13 - Capture the Flag at Leonhard building/field, 4 pm to around 6 pm, or whenever it’s too dark.

Saturday 1/14 - Late Night Capture the Flag in Alumni Hall, 10 pm to 1 am.  Bring blasters, bandannas and friends!

Sunday 1/15 - Miniature HvZ!  Meet at the HUB at noon, we’ll play til around 5.  Another great way to introduce a friend to the club or reacquaint yourself with how awesome HvZ is!  You should definitely eat first, and if you’re late, you can call Hetty Nie for our location: 610.500.9696
