Territories: Wednesday Matches have been cancelled.

Posted by Matthew Mols on Wednesday, February 24th at 2:26pm

Wednesday Matches have been canceled for all teams due to scheduling conflicts. Matches will be made up this weekend.

Your administrator, Joe Yoder:

So the team captains have been concerned in their forum about how many conflicts there are with Wednesday matches. I’m seeing a lot of teams getting kinda shafted by Wednesday with 5 out of 9 teams explicitly saying that at least half their team is unable to make Wednesdays and 3 of those teams are on the brink of elimination.

This is really no way to go out and I know no one would be happy about losing the game because they simply could not make their match on the most important of days.

Because Wednesdays will be scrapped, I am definitely going to add more matches to the weekends. Fil is going to reserve a room for us to meet in between rounds, so we can update the map and the points, and declare attacks again.

Thank you all for your cooperation during this game of Territories. The annoyance of the scheduling is tough on admins and players alike this semester and everything possible is being done to ensure a good experience for all players.

Last Minute Update: Indoor Capture the Flag

Posted by John Mortara on Friday, February 5th at 2:46pm

Hey guys, due to some issues with e-mails and the like, we just recently found out we have space reserved in the IM Building (Gym 3) for tonight 6pm-9pm.

I’m not quite sure about the format of the game right now, but I will be there early to figure something out.

Please come and join us at 6, feel free to take a duffel bag of your blasters or something, but please try not to have them exposed as you enter the building.

See you soon!
