Assassins

Posted by Ryan Bisbey on Monday, October 26th at 4:58pm

It’s getting colder outside, so who wants to run around all day? I know I don’t. A great solution to this is playing assassins. In Assassins you are given a file on a target which contains their name, physical description, and maybe a few classes. Your goal is to assassinate them. Once your task is complete, you will be given "money" and another target. If a rival assassin is making more money than you, it may be in your own interest to take them out.

Registration for Assassins is online now. Assassins will start November 9th and run until all the targets are eliminated and one player remains. Orientation will be Sunday, November 8th at 7:00pm in 60 Willard. Email John Mortara if you are unable to attend.

Humans vs. Zombies Orientation

Posted by Ryan Bisbey on Sunday, October 11th at 11:59am

Just a reminder that is you’re one of the 201 people (Yes 201!) that registered for Humans vs. Zombies that you must attend orientation. Orientation will be held today (Sunday, October 11th) at 4:00 pm for those who’s last name falls into the A-L category and 7:30 pm for those who are in the M-Z. If you can’t make your assigned orientation, you can attend the other.

At the orientation you will need to bring money to complete registration ($5 for new players or $4 for those who have bandannas) and any modified NERF blasters you plan on using during the game. At the orientation you will get officially added into the game, sign our waiver, receive your bandannas, get your NERF blaster approvals, get your game ID card, and most importantly learn the rules to the game. We’ll try to review all the rules, but please take a moment to read over the rules before hand. That way you can ask the rules experts any questions you may have.

If you cannot attend orientation and still want to play you must contact Alex Daise! Please email him or call him using the cell phone number given in his email to you.

Come out, have fun, and donate to a good cause. Please try to bring a $2-3 donation. Information can be found here.

Upcoming Games

Posted by Ryan Bisbey on Tuesday, September 22nd at 10:22am

With a long game like territories ending we’ve decided to give you guys a little break with a set of day-long games.

This Thursday at 8:30 pm we’ll be meeting at the Katz Law Building for Manhunt, a hybrid game of tag and hide-and-go seek. The manhunt will be Scottish style where the manhunters receive letters after tagging the fugitives. The manhunters must piece the letters together to make a word or phrase. Please bring your orange and green bandannas.

On Sunday at 1 pm in 60 Willard will be Battle Royale. Battle Royale is a game where you and a random partner, receive random weapons and try to be the last pair to survive. The map shrinks as it fills with dead-zones that you cannot enter forcing teams to confront each other. Please bring UGC weapons that you don’t mind others using and your orange and green bandannas.

On Wednesday September 30th at 6 pm will be a game of NERF capture the flag. We’ll be meeting at Leonard Building please bring your NERF blasters and orange and green bandannas.

On Sunday October 4th and 2 pm we’ll be playing Heist. Heist is a game of cops and robbers where one team of robbers faces a mob of cops. The game is played until each team has had a go as robbers. Please plan on staying the whole time, bring your NERF blasters, and your orange and green bandannas.
